The hall complex was built in 2004 and consists of The Dixon Hall (17.4m x 9.75m) and the Bruton Hall (9.75m x 6.7m). Other facilities include sports changing rooms and showers (plus disabled persons’ shower), green room, committee room for up to 15 people and a large kitchen with refrigerator and dishwasher. Cutlery, crockery and a limited number of glasses are available.
The Dixon Hall
There is a maximum capacity of 300 (including helpers and performers) or 210 if seated. Adequate tables (rectangular and round) and chairs (plastic and upholstered) are available.
Staging is available in sizes to suit individual requirements. This can also be utilised for raked seating.
The recreation ground may be available for use, though not exclusively.
The Bruton Hall
There is a large car park, adjacent to the hall, childrens’ play area and tennis courts.
Regular activities include baby and toddler group, yoga, ballroom dancing, play group, folk dancing, art classes, childrens’ theatre skills, amateur dramatics, table tennis and horticultural talks and shows.
