Getting to know BHS
Whether your interests lie in creating a brand new garden, growing flowers for cutting, fruit and vegetables for the table, or creating a colourful border display that lasts throughout the year, there will something for everyone during our annual programme of talks, plant sales, shows, outings and social events. Attending the various events on a regular basis allows you to get to know the other members and gain from the vast pool of knowledge that exists within the society, with advice based on years of experience working with the same soil you’ve probably got in your garden (and if you’re in Upper Basildon, that’ll probably be heavy clay!). Note that a degree in Latin is not a prerequisite for joining the BHS.
