Dates for the 2010 Basildon Burn
Following the successful trial last year, the Basildon Burn will take place again on 19th September 2010. This is a local fun run/walk in aid of charity and this year will be supporting the Berkshire Air Ambulance. There are several events starting and finishing at the Village Hall in Upper Basildon. ATTENTION - Recent Local Burglaries
There seems to have been a spate of local burglaries recently, particularly in the Lower Basildon area. The thieves have mainly targetted outbuildings and building sites, taking tools and equipment. However there has also been a case of a houses being broken into. Please remember to be vigilant and keep your sheds / garages locked.
